Why there is no "expected date" here

Search for any board result and you will find five pages with five different “expected dates”. Most are guesses, often last year's date with the year changed. When the guess is wrong, students and parents lose a day of worry, or miss the real announcement.

What we do instead

• Date not announced plus the page we checked and when. That is the honest answer most of the year.
• Expected only when the board itself has said something, quoted with a link.
• Last session: the date last year's result came out, clearly labelled as history, not a prediction.
